TRENDnet intros the 150 Mbps TEW-655BR3G WiFi-N Mobile Wireless Router

Networking company TRENDnet lets you connect to the web even while you are on travel through their new 150Mbps Mobile Wireless router, called TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G. The TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G is alike as MiFi, but has come up with few set of features of its own. The device has no internal WWAN connection of its own and relies on a USB modem from a 3G/4G Internet service provider such as SprintTM, AT&TTM, or VerizonTM. No more installation of software or drivers to connect to internet before you use. Just slot in the modem and start communicating with multiple WiFi clients. Read the rest of this entry »

QUALCOMM to support Google Chrome OS

CEO of Qualcomm, Paul Jacobs announces at the CES 2010 that they have added Google Chrome OS which is in development phase to their list of supported platforms and aims to run it in cheap computers and netbooks. Also confirms that, there is no truth in the spread rumors that they would release a Snapdragon-based Chrome OS smartbook.

But, Qualcomm is in its way to release two new Snapdragon chipsets in this year, which include a 1.3 GHz Snapdragon 8X50A and the dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon 8X72. Additionally he adds that there are almost 15 companies developing over 40 products which are based on Snapdragon processor. Qualcomm is aiming to deploy in mobile and low cost computing devices.

BillShrink comparison say Google Nexus One undercuts iPhone 3GS and DROID

Asus Eee PC 1001P Coming on January 6 and available in Germany for preorder

Much awaited ASUS Eee PC 1001P is finally scheduled to arrive on January 6, 2010 and is available for preorder through Amazon Germany. Eee PC 1001P is seen in either black or white colors and features an Intel Atom N450 processor. Google Nexus One Coming To AT&T?

Though this is not confirmed, but the sources at Boy Genius say that there will be Google Nexus One on AT&T 3G compatible version. This seems to be a second unlocked model, while the Android based Smartphone is being locked to T-Mobile USA. As you all know, Nexus One has cleared the FCC testing and the specs are leaked couple of weeks ago. People at BGR say that, they would give up T-Mobile BlackBerry 9700 for a Google Nexus One when it is available. Wait for few more days, as the Nexus One is expected to launch on January 5, 2010.

Lenovo is likely to unveil an eReader soon

Lenovo is likely to introduce light-weight and easy to carry eReader devices. According to rumors, the company might step into eReader market and looking forward to compete with the biggies. Tech 163 claims that the process of internal testing on eReader at Lenovo is going on to release the device somewhere down the line. The eReader may be showcased at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which was scheduled to be held at Las Vegas on Jan 7-10, 2010.

Let’s wait and see what the new features Lenovo embeds in the device and the price it charges on the end users.
