Wii Classic Controller Pro will be available in US stores from April 2010

Followers of Nintendo would feel pretty happy and is good news for all the gaming lovers. Capcom Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, and Nintendo of America today announced that, US gamers will be offered Monster Hunter Tri combined with the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro for the Wii system priced at $19.99 as of April 2010. Nintendo is also releasing out a controller that is available in both black and white colors bundled with Monster Hunter Tri.  It costs you around $59.99 that includes a black controller; while the game itself costs you $49.99. Apple reports 50% jump in Q1 profit to $3.38 bn, doubles iPhone sales

Apple doubles its iPhone sales and registered a 50% jump in its profit in fiscal Q1 financial which ended on December 26th, whereas the Mac sales up 33%. The interesting thing to look at is, the iPod sales have seen a drop up to 8% when compared to its sales in the earlier year. Apple revenues stood at $15.68 billion with a 32% rise in revenue, according to consumer electronics report. On the whole, Apple showed a $3.38 billion profit in Q1 from $2.26 billion or $3.67 a share which was $2.50 a share in the last year. Additionally in this quarter, Apple has adopted a new accounting principle for subscription devices such as the iPhone and the Apple TV. Read the rest of this entry »

iriver Smart HD K1 PMP unveils video demo

The slick designed iRiver Smart HD K1 has unveiled the video demo which is expected to release in this month. We have no idea from where this video has been shot but it’s good to have a video demo prior to its release. Vodafone offers iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G on its UK network

Vodafone offers the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G and is the latest UK carrier along with the O2, Orange and Tesco Mobile carriers. The Vodafone is selling the 16GB iPhone 3GS available for free on two-year contract which costs you about £45 ($73) per month, and a 32GB iPhone 3GS available for free on two-year contract which costs you about £75 ($122) per month. Kingston replaces the affected secure USB flash drives with Upgraded Security

Sony to launch PS3 250GB in Japan on February 18

The Play Station 3(PS3) which was released in the November 2009 in US is now coming to Japan on February 18 to replace their existing 120GB with a 250GB hard drive. The specification of the new PS3 will be as same as the older version except an increment in its storage. Sony PS3 250GB is priced at 34,980 yen ($382).

Microsoft Arc Keyboard is scheduled to release on February 21st, will be available first at Best Buy

Microsoft adds a new wireless keyboard called Arc to its line of devices. The Arc is believed to be a small, thin, lightweight and offers the end users the portability to carry the device wherever we want. The keyboard has given a special care to its design and not to miss the function. The Arc has come up with some exciting features, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle called as stowable nano transceiver situated at the bottom of they keyboard which helps in retrieving the device if it is lost when you are on travel. TRENDnet intros the 150 Mbps TEW-655BR3G WiFi-N Mobile Wireless Router

Networking company TRENDnet lets you connect to the web even while you are on travel through their new 150Mbps Mobile Wireless router, called TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G. The TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G is alike as MiFi, but has come up with few set of features of its own. The device has no internal WWAN connection of its own and relies on a USB modem from a 3G/4G Internet service provider such as SprintTM, AT&TTM, or VerizonTM. QUALCOMM to support Google Chrome OS

CEO of Qualcomm, Paul Jacobs announces at the CES 2010 that they have added Google Chrome OS which is in development phase to their list of supported platforms and aims to run it in cheap computers and netbooks. Also confirms that, there is no truth in the spread rumors that they would release a Snapdragon-based Chrome OS smartbook.

But, Qualcomm is in its way to release two new Snapdragon chipsets in this year, which include a 1.3 GHz Snapdragon 8X50A and the dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon 8X72. Additionally he adds that there are almost 15 companies developing over 40 products which are based on Snapdragon processor. Qualcomm is aiming to deploy in mobile and low cost computing devices.
