Nokia announces 6700 classic Gold Edition with 18-carat gold

When you place the Nokia 6700 classic and the new Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition side by side, your eyes would easily take turn towards the shiny coated with a 18-carat gold plated Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition. The handset is pre-loaded with the wallpapers which resemble the gold look, has almost have the same specs as of its standard handset; a 5MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a GPS connectivity for Nokia maps.

The new Gold Edition would include an 8GB microSD card for extra storage, included with a high speed data access that lets you upload the digital photos and video on-line to various communities at ease and the whole thing is packed into a leather carrying case and strap into the box.

The Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition will be shipped for sale in selected markets in Q1 of 2010 with a price tag of 370 EUR (US$545) before taxes and subsidies.
